The DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II (PN 50503) provides professional-grade thermal protection for interiors, electronics, and vehicle components. Engineered to block heat at the source, this barrier is ideal for firewalls, transmission tunnels, floor boards, and fuel cells where high temperatures are constant. At only 3/16 in. thick, it is specifically designed for minimal clearance areas and can be easily trimmed or formed to fit complex contours.
- Extreme Heat Protection: Withstands direct radiant temperatures up to 1750°F.
- Premium Construction: Features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 in. composite glass-fiber core.
- High-Temp Adhesive: Features a pressure-sensitive backing that maintains its bond past 450°F on metal, aluminum, carbon fiber, and plastic.
- Acoustic Benefits: Acts as a functional sound deadener to reduce road, tire, and engine noise.
- Durability: The dimpled aluminum surface provides rigidity and guards against track and road debris.
Installation Note: The aluminum side must face the heat source. Do NOT apply this product directly to exhaust components.
