The DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield II (50520) provides critical thermal protection for vehicle components and interiors exposed to extreme temperatures. This 42in x 48in shield is engineered to block heat transfer on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, and fuel cells, preventing damage to electronics and painted surfaces while improving occupant comfort.
Constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core, this barrier is rated to withstand direct heat up to 1750°F. At only 3/16-inch total thickness, the material is highly flexible and can be easily trimmed and shaped for custom fits in minimal-clearance areas. This version is designed without adhesive backing, requiring mechanical fasteners for a secure, permanent installation.
