DEI Form-A-Barrier (11013) provides a professional-grade thermal solution for areas requiring a rigid yet formable heat shield. This 12" x 24" barrier is lightweight and easily shaped by hand to conform to complex geometries like firewalls, transmission tunnels, or engine bays. Its unique design allows it to hold its shape once bent, providing a permanent heat management solution for custom automotive applications.
Featuring reflective material on both sides, this 3/16" thick shield is rated for radiant temperatures up to 1300°F when installed with a minimum 1-inch air gap from the heat source. It is engineered to withstand most common automotive chemicals, ensuring longevity in harsh underhood environments. For secure installation, the barrier should be mechanically fastened using screws, bolts, or pins.
