Engineered from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a 1/4-inch high-temperature basalt thermal barrier, this shield is rated to withstand constant direct heat of up to 1400°F. Its pliable construction allows it to be manually formed around complex geometries like exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes to dramatically reduce radiant heat transfer under the hood.

Designed for long-term durability, Form-A-Shield is resistant to oil and chemical spills, making it an ideal choice for under-chassis and engine bay protection, including firewalls and transmission tunnels. This specific version features no adhesive backing (Non-PSA) to ensure integrity when applied directly to hot surfaces; it should be secured using mechanical fasteners such as hose clamps, straps, or DEI Locking Ties.
