The DEI 10258 Pad Shield offers a professional-grade thermal solution for protecting sensitive components from extreme radiant heat. Constructed with a high-temperature insulation core encapsulated between two layers of high-grade 306 stainless steel, this 12" x 12" shield features welded seams to seal the insulation from moisture and contaminants. The lightweight design is specifically engineered to be hand-formed, allowing it to conform to the bends and curves of chassis or exhaust components.
Capable of withstanding up to 2000°F of radiant heat, this shield is an essential barrier for engine bays, transmission tunnels, and fuel systems. Each pad includes integrated grommet holes to provide a secure mechanical mounting point for easy installation.
