The DEI 10255 Pipe Shield provides high-performance thermal protection for chassis components, fuel lines, and vehicle occupants. Constructed from two layers of 304 stainless steel encapsulating a high-temperature insulation core, this shield is engineered to withstand up to 2000°F of radiant heat. The semi-rigid design allows the 6-inch by 12-inch panel to be manually flexed, ensuring a tight fit around varying pipe diameters and exhaust contours.
- Replaces or augments inefficient factory heat shields with durable 304 stainless steel construction.
- 1/2-inch high welded standoffs create a critical air gap between the shield and the pipe to maximize thermal dissipation.
- Welded seams provide superior structural integrity compared to crimped alternatives.
- Universal fitment for exhaust pipes, downpipes, and mid-pipes.
- Includes stainless steel mounting straps for a secure, vibration-resistant installation.
