While traditional glass fiber shields often fail or crack at 900°F, DEI’s Titanium technology is rated for continuous exposure up to 1350°F.

Constructed using proprietary LR Fiber technology, this shield features a two-ply design: an outer layer of woven basalt (pulverized lava rock) for superior durability and an inner layer made of 89% silica fabric to withstand extreme thermal loads. The shield utilizes a unique rivet-based standoff bracket design, creating a critical air gap between the shield and the pipe to maximize heat dissipation and cooling efficiency.
