The GrimmSpeed High Lift Hood Strut kit replaces the cumbersome factory prop rod with a pair of gas-charged struts, providing a cleaner look and much-improved access to the engine bay. The "High Lift" geometry is engineered to open the hood further than the stock prop rod allows, creating a safer and more spacious workspace for maintenance and performance upgrades.
- Improved Clearance: Increases hood opening height for better visibility and overhead room.
- Simplified Maintenance: Eliminates the OEM prop rod, removing a common obstruction in the front of the engine bay.
- Direct Fit: Precision-engineered brackets bolt directly to factory mounting points with no drilling required.
- Complete Kit: Includes two gas-charged struts, CNC-cut mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware for installation.
