The Roush Mustang Hood Strut Kit replaces the standard factory prop rod, providing a cleaner engine bay and improved access for maintenance or show display. These gas-charged struts are specifically engineered to support the weight of the factory hood, lifting it to a wider angle than the original equipment to allow more light into the compartment and offer an unobstructed view of the engine.
The kit features heavy-duty brackets constructed from black e-coated stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability. Each bracket includes a precision laser-cut Roush logo for a custom appearance. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory OEM attachment points with no drilling required.
