The DV8 Offroad Heat Dispersion Hood is engineered to tackle the excessive under-hood temperatures common during low-speed technical rock crawling. By increasing airflow through the engine compartment, this hood helps prevent heat soak and protects sensitive components from thermal stress. The aggressive vented design works in conjunction with inner fenders to maximize cooling efficiency.
Constructed from lightweight stamped steel for a factory-like fit and long-term durability, the HDMB07-02 comes in a protective primer black finish. While it arrives ready for mock-up, standard body prep and paint are required to match your vehicle's color. This kit includes the necessary under-hood insulated lining to maintain OEM levels of sound dampening and heat protection.
