Vibrant Performance 11918 Braided Flex Hose provides a durable and versatile plumbing solution for high-performance automotive systems. Engineered for a wide range of fluids, this hose features a 300 Series stainless steel outer braid for superior abrasion and corrosion resistance, protecting a reinforced Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber inner liner.
- Service Compatibility: Suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum lines.
- Temperature Range: Maintains integrity from -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C).
- Materials: Stainless steel outer braid with a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber core.
- E85/Methanol Note: Compatible for use, though vapors may permeate the CPE liner if fuel remains stagnant for long periods; for dedicated long-term E85 storage, PTFE-lined hose is recommended.
- Restrictions: Not for use in braking systems, high-pressure hydraulic lines, or in-tank (submersed) applications.
- Specifications: -8 AN hose size, 10-foot roll, MPN 11918.
