NGK Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs are engineered for OE applications, delivering a combination of high-efficiency combustion and long-term durability. These plugs feature a dual-precious metal design: an iridium-tipped center electrode for extreme hardness and a raised platinum pad on the ground electrode to ensure even wear in distributorless ignition systems. This configuration is specifically recommended for vehicles originally equipped with DFE iridium alloy plugs.
Built with a 98% pure copper core, these plugs provide superior heat dissipation to prevent overheating and pre-ignition. The pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator offers high dielectric strength and enhanced heat transfer, while trivalent metal plating on the shell provides excellent anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties for easier removal. Triple seals prevent combustion gas leakage, maintaining engine compression and efficiency.
