NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs (LKR8AP) are engineered to meet strict original equipment standards for high-performance BMW M-Series engines. Featuring a platinum center electrode and a multi-ground design, these plugs provide superior ignitability and a longer service life compared to standard nickel alternatives. The multi-ground configuration is specifically designed for distributorless ignition systems to ensure even wear and stable idling.
Constructed with a high-grade pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator, these plugs offer excellent dielectric strength and thermal conductivity. The 98% pure copper core effectively dissipates heat to prevent pre-ignition and overheating, while the triple seal design ensures no combustion gas leakage during operation.
