NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs are engineered for OE applications, providing high ignitability and a significantly longer service life than conventional nickel plugs. These DCPR8EKP plugs feature a laser-welded platinum pad on the ground electrode, ensuring even wear and consistent performance in modern distributorless ignition systems. The 98% pure copper core is paired with a high-grade alumina silicate ceramic insulator to maximize heat dissipation, preventing overheating and ensuring reliable starts even under heavy load.
Built to resist the harsh conditions of high-performance engines, the shells are finished with trivalent metal plating for superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties. Triple seals prevent combustion gas leakage, maintaining cylinder compression and improving overall fuel efficiency while lowering emissions.
