When upgrading to a high-flow intake and open grid plate on the 6.7L Cummins, the restrictive factory grid heater is removed to maximize airflow. The BD Diesel X-Flow Air Intake Heater Kit (MPN 1041563) allows you to maintain the performance benefits of an open plenum while restoring the heating capability required for quick, clean, and reliable cold-weather starts.
This kit is specifically engineered to mount into BD X-Flow components and connects directly to the stock grid heater wiring, ensuring a seamless integration with your vehicle's factory electrical system.
- Aids in cold-weather ignition and reduces smoke during startup
- Maintains high-flow performance when used with intake grid plate deletes
- Connects to the factory grid heater terminal and wiring
- Designed specifically for BD Diesel X-Flow series components
