Fits 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Base models with the 5.9L 24-valve Cummins engine.
The BD Diesel X-Flow Power Intake Elbow is designed to eliminate the restrictive airflow found in factory intake systems. This high-flow plenum features a unique bulbous design that holds a reserve of air to improve turbo response time during acceleration. By utilizing smooth radius turns and an optimized internal geometry, this elbow reduces air turbulence and minimizes intake pressure losses.
Engineering attention was given to the hardware configuration; BD Diesel positions the fastening bolts outside of the intake tract rather than through it, removing internal obstructions that typically disrupt airflow. The elbow is equipped with two convenient ports (one pre-tapped) to simplify the installation of boost gauges or nitrous oxide/water-methanol injection systems.
