The Cobb Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit is engineered to solve the inherent heat soak limitations of the factory top-mount setup. By relocating the intercooler core to the front of the vehicle, this kit maximizes exposure to ambient airflow, significantly reducing intake charge temperatures and providing the cooling capacity required for high-boost applications and track use.
This complete kit features a high-efficiency intercooler core paired with mandrel-bent aluminum piping to maintain consistent internal diameters and minimize pressure drop. The system includes heavy-duty silicone couplers and high-quality clamps for a secure, leak-free installation that can withstand increased turbocharger pressure. Designed to work with the factory chassis, this kit provides a professional cooling solution for modified Subarus.
