This Cobb Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) core and bumper beam kit provides the foundation for superior thermal management on the 2022+ Subaru WRX. By relocating the intercooler from the heat-soaked factory top-mount position to the front of the vehicle, this core captures significantly more ambient airflow to lower intake charge temperatures and prevent timing pull during aggressive driving.
The kit features a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core finished in silver for a classic performance look. Because the factory bumper beam interferes with a front-mount setup, this package includes a replacement bumper beam specifically engineered to accommodate the larger core while maintaining structural integrity for the front end.
