The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit replaces the restrictive factory cooling system on the Ford Focus ST to eliminate heat soak and maximize the potential of the 2.0T EcoBoost engine. This kit features a massive 4.3-inch thick bar-and-plate core designed for optimal heat dissipation and minimal pressure drop. The included hot-side and cold-side piping replaces degradation-prone rubber and restrictive factory aluminum with mandrel-bent aluminum and wire-reinforced silicone couplers. By deleting the restrictive turbo muffler and increasing pipe diameter, the hot-side pipe achieves a 26-percent increase in flow over stock, resulting in a 21-percent total flow increase through the system.
Built for street performance and track reliability, the all-aluminum construction is rated to support up to 550 HP. This kit includes the gold intercooler core and wrinkle black piping for a distinct look under the hood.
