The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit addresses this thermal bottleneck by replacing the restrictive stock components with a high-efficiency bar-and-plate system. This kit includes a massive 4.7-inch thick intercooler core and 2.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping to ensure maximum airflow and cooling capacity.

By increasing the core volume by 169% and external fin surface area by 189%, this intercooler provides superior heat rejection compared to the OE unit. The sleek cast aluminum end tanks improve internal flow dynamics and provide far greater durability than the stock plastic tanks. This kit is designed for a direct-fit installation and has been tested to provide significant temperature drops and power gains on stock tuning.
