The centerpiece of this kit is a robust bar-and-plate intercooler core, TIG-welded to cast aluminum end tanks. This replaces the prone-to-leak plastic end tanks and tube-and-fin core found on the OEM unit. With a 94% increase in core volume and a 74% increase in external fin surface area, this intercooler is engineered to handle higher boost levels. The kit includes 3-inch inner diameter aluminum piping and a dedicated piping merger manifold that increases the inlet size to 2 inches and the outlet to 3 inches, resulting in a 51% boost in flow over stock piping.
