Fits 2020-2024 Ford Explorer ST. The Mishimoto performance front mount intercooler addresses the primary bottleneck in the factory forced induction system: heat soak. By replacing the undersized OE unit with a massive bar-and-plate core, this upgrade provides a 130% increase in core volume and a 168% increase in fin surface area.
During rigorous dyno testing, this intercooler demonstrated a 19% reduction in restriction and dropped outlet air temperatures by over 115°F compared to stock. These thermal efficiencies translate directly to power, adding 34 HP and 7 lb-ft of torque on a stock tune, and a massive 65 HP and 12 lb-ft of torque when paired with a Stage 1 tune. The precision TIG-welded cast and CNC-machined aluminum end tanks ensure long-term durability under high boost pressures.
