The Injen SES1128ICPWB Cold Side Intercooler Charge Pipe is engineered to replace the failure-prone factory plastic unit on turbocharged BMW engines. Constructed from oversized, mandrel-bent T6-6061 aluminum, this system utilizes a stepped design (3.00" to 2.50") to reduce restriction and improve airflow efficiency. The wrinkle black finish provides a durable, heat-resistant barrier while maintaining a factory-plus aesthetic under the hood.
This charge pipe features precision CNC-machined adapter flanges that mimic the OE-style connections for a secure, leak-free installation. For enthusiasts looking to expand their performance capabilities, the pipe includes a pre-tapped 1/8" NPT bung for water-methanol injection or additional sensors. Every kit is hand-built in Pomona, California, and includes automotive-grade silicone couplers and stainless steel band clamps for a complete installation.
