The do88 Intercooler to Throttle Body J-Pipe (TR-250-S) is an essential upgrade for the S55 engine, replacing the failure-prone factory plastic charge pipe. On tuned or high-mileage BMW M-series vehicles, the OEM plastic pipe is known to crack or burst at the flange under increased boost pressure, leading to immediate power loss and potential debris entering the engine. This mandrel-bent aluminum replacement provides a robust, high-flow solution that eliminates the risk of boost leaks.
