The aFe Power BladeRunner cold side intercooler tube replaces the restrictive plastic factory charge pipe on the L5P Duramax engine. Engineered for durability under high boost, this tube is constructed from 3-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum to maximize airflow. The smooth transition bends reduce turbulence and minimize pressure loss, which helps lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) and improves throttle response.
- High-Strength Construction: TIG-welded aircraft-grade aluminum tubing finished in a wrinkle-black powder coating for heat resistance and durability.
- Robust Couplings: Includes heavy-duty 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone couplings pressure-tested to 200 psi for long-term reliability.
- Integrated Ports: Equipped with one 1/8 inch NPT port for auxiliary sensors or water-methanol injection while maintaining the factory air temperature sensor location.
- Precision Hardware: Features a 6061-T6 billet aluminum quick-connect adapter with an O-ring seal and stainless steel spring-loaded T-bolt clamps for a secure, leak-free installation.
- Direct Fit: Designed to utilize factory mounting locations for a hassle-free, bolt-on upgrade.
