The AMS Performance Stock Location Intercooler is engineered to combat heat soak and optimize intake air temperatures (IATs) for the EcoBoost platform. While the factory intercooler can struggle to keep up during sustained boost or towing, this upgraded unit utilizes a high-efficiency core to provide more consistent power delivery. By retaining the stock mounting location, it offers a significant increase in cooling capacity without requiring extensive modifications to the front end of your truck.
