The CSF #8300 Machined Billet Aluminum Charge-Air-Cooler Manifold is an essential upgrade for high-performance Gen 1 B58 engines. While the factory manifold is adequate for stock applications, it often struggles with heat soak during racing or high-boost conditions and is prone to failure at the gasket joints. This CSF manifold replaces the OEM plastic unit with a robust, motorsports-grade bar-and-plate air-to-water intercooler core that features 12 rows of cooling—double the capacity of the original equipment.

Engineered using SolidWorks and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the manifold includes an integrated air divider in the inlet tank to ensure even airflow distribution. To facilitate maintenance, the design allows for easy access to the spin-off oil filter without manifold removal. Each unit is manufactured by Custom Plenum Creations in Australia and comes in a raw billet finish with an included KIYLEX thermal rejection spacer to reduce intake temperatures by up to 15%.
