Fits select 2005-2014 Subaru Forester XT, Impreza WRX, Legacy GT, and Outback XT models. This Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler (TMIC) is engineered to solve the thermal limitations and structural weaknesses of the factory unit. While the stock intercooler's plastic end tanks are prone to failure and leaking above 18 psi, this upgrade utilizes TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks to withstand high-boost applications.

The Mishimoto intercooler features a 3.75-inch thick, dense bar-and-plate core with an offset fin pitch, providing a total volume of 584 cubic inches. This high-efficiency design supports power levels from stock up to 400 whp. During testing on a stock vehicle, this kit delivered a 12°F drop in intake temperatures and recorded bolt-on gains of +6 whp and +8 wtq. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting points with no permanent modifications required.
