Standard top-mount intercoolers (TMIC) are highly susceptible to heat soak during spirited driving or track sessions, leading to elevated intake temperatures and reduced performance. The Mishimoto Top-Mount Intercooler and Charge Pipe System is engineered specifically for the FA20DIT platform to provide superior thermal management. Featuring a massive 4-inch thick core and 625 cubic inches of total volume, this bar-and-plate intercooler is designed to optimize heat transfer and support high-performance builds up to 500 whp.

Constructed with durable cast aluminum end tanks and TIG-welded for maximum pressure tolerance, this kit has been proven to provide a 35°F temperature drop compared to the factory unit. In testing on a Stage 2 tuned vehicle, this bolt-on upgrade yielded gains of +15 whp and +8 wtq. The included one-piece charge pipe eliminates multiple failure points by removing unnecessary couplers and clamps, while the custom air splitter ensures maximum airflow across the core surface.
