Designed to combat heat soak and high intake temperatures, the Mishimoto top-mount intercooler is a direct-fit upgrade for both stock and modified EJ-series engines. This intercooler features a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core with a 3.75-inch thickness and a total volume of 584 cubic inches. The dense offset fin pitch optimizes heat transfer, supporting vehicles ranging from stock power levels up to 400 whp. The assembly is built for durability with cast aluminum end tanks that are precision TIG-welded to the core.

During testing, this intercooler demonstrated a 10°F temperature drop compared to the factory unit, while providing bolt-on gains of +5 whp and +7 wtq on a stock test vehicle. Installation is straightforward and requires no modification to the stock A/C lines. The kit comes complete with a silicone throttle-body coupler, a silicone PCV hose, and necessary gaskets for the Y-pipe and BPV.
