By significantly reducing intake air temperatures (IATs), this unit allows for more consistent power delivery and helps prevent heat soak during heavy towing or spirited driving. The intercooler comes pre-fitted with a high-performance recirculating blow-off valve (BOV) to ensure reliable boost pressure management without the noise associated with vent-to-atmosphere valves.
