The Vibrant Performance 12948 Horizontal Flow Intercooler Core is engineered for high-performance forced induction applications where thermal efficiency and structural integrity are critical. This air-to-air core utilizes heavy-duty Bar and Plate construction, offering superior durability and heat soak resistance for street and track use.
To maximize cooling performance, the core features a unique louvered fin design on the ambient path, significantly increasing the available surface area for heat dissipation. Internally, the charge path uses an offset fin configuration to balance high-efficiency heat transfer with minimal pressure loss, ensuring your turbocharger or supercharger maintains optimal boost pressure and lower intake air temperatures.
