This ARB Old Man Emu (OME) Dakar front leaf spring is a heavy-duty suspension upgrade engineered to provide superior ride quality and load-carrying capability regardless of the terrain. Designed as part of an integrated 4x4 suspension system, the CS008FA replaces worn factory springs with a multi-leaf pack built for durability and consistent performance.
- Military Wrap Design: Enhances safety by providing an additional point of contact around the spring eye.
- Shot Peened & Scragged: Each spring is shot peened to reduce internal stress and fully scragged to ensure the pack maintains its height without sagging.
- Reduced Friction: Features re-greasable nylon interleaf anti-friction pads at the tips and diamond-cut leaves to minimize friction and prevent squeaking.
- Secure Mounting: A flat axle seat area provides a positive, safe mounting surface, significantly reducing localized spring stress.
- Bolted Clamps: Utilizes bolted leaf clamps to allow for the installation of anti-squeak nylon liners, further refining ride comfort.
