Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide the maximum wheel travel and ride quality required for off-road performance without compromising longevity. Manufactured from high-quality American steel, each individual leaf is shot-peened with steel pellets at high velocities. This process compresses the steel surface to increase tensile strength and overall spring life.
Unlike traditional designs that use friction-heavy "C" style bend clips, Softride springs utilize bolt-style spring clips to eliminate binding. The leaves are tapered across their entire length to distribute loads evenly, ensuring more flex at the leaf ends and preventing leaves from digging into one another. These progressive multi-leaf packs maintain a load capacity equal to or greater than OE while providing a 3.5 to 4-inch lift.
