Each leaf is shot-peened with high-velocity steel pellets to compress the surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and extending the spring's service life.

These packs utilize bolt-style spring clips rather than restrictive C-style clips to eliminate friction and binding during suspension travel. The leaves are tapered over their entire length, allowing for greater flex at the ends and preventing individual leaves from digging into one another.
