Unlike standard leaf packs that can feel stiff or bouncy, these progressive multileaf packs are constructed from high-grade American steel and shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities. This shot-peening process compresses the steel surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and longevity while allowing for maximum wheel travel.

To ensure smooth articulation, Skyjacker uses bolt-style spring clips that eliminate the friction and binding common with traditional C-style bend clips. Each leaf is tapered along its entire length, allowing for more flex at the ends and distributing the load more evenly to prevent leaf-to-leaf digging and premature wear.
