Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality and wheel travel without compromising durability. Each spring is constructed from high-quality American steel and undergoes a high-velocity shot-peening process. This compresses the steel surface, increasing tensile strength and extending the service life of the spring under demanding off-road conditions.
The Softride design features tapered leaves that distribute loads evenly across the entire length of the spring, reducing friction and allowing for greater flex at the leaf ends. Unlike standard springs that use restrictive bend clips, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips to eliminate binding. These progressive multileaf packs ensure a load capacity equal to or greater than original equipment while providing a smoother, more controlled ride.
