Fits 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models including Base, Sport, Limited, Classic, and Laredo.
The Skyjacker Softride leaf spring is engineered to provide a significant improvement in ride quality and suspension flex without compromising durability. Unlike standard springs, Softride units are manufactured from high-grade American steel and undergo a rigorous shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel with hard steel pellets at high velocities, the surface is compressed to increase tensile strength, ensuring the spring can handle maximum wheel travel and extended service life.
Skyjacker utilizes a progressive multileaf design with tapered ends to distribute loads evenly and prevent individual leaves from digging into one another. To eliminate the binding and friction common with OE-style bend clips, these packs feature bolt-style spring clips for smoother articulation. Each spring is designed to meet or exceed original equipment load capacities.
