Unlike standard springs, Softride packs are constructed from high-grade American steel and utilize a specialized shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel surface with high-velocity pellets, the material is compressed to increase tensile strength and significantly extend the service life of the spring pack. The progressive multi-leaf design ensures load capacity meets or exceeds OE specifications while providing a smoother response over varying terrain.

To prevent binding and friction, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips rather than traditional cinch-style clips. Each leaf is tapered across its entire length to allow for greater flex at the leaf ends and more even load distribution, which prevents individual leaves from digging into the pack under compression.
