The Skyjacker Softride leaf spring is engineered to deliver improved ride quality and off-road flex without compromising the durability of your suspension. Each spring is manufactured using high-grade American steel that undergoes a specialized shot-peening process. By impacting the steel with high-velocity pellets, the surface is compressed to increase tensile strength, allowing for greater wheel travel and a longer service life compared to standard springs.
These progressive multi-leaf packs feature a tapered design across the entire length of the leaf, which distributes loads more evenly and prevents individual leaves from digging into each other. To further reduce friction and prevent binding, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips rather than traditional bend-over clips, ensuring smooth suspension cycling throughout its range of motion.
