Fits 2006-2010 Chevrolet and GMC 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax Diesel (LBZ and LMM engine codes).
The ARP 230-5402 Main Stud Kit is a critical upgrade for high-horsepower builds and heavy-duty towing applications. These studs provide the superior clamping force required to eliminate main cap walk and maintain crank alignment under extreme cylinder pressures. Unlike factory bolts that twist during the torque sequence, these studs allow for more accurate and consistent loading of the main caps by isolating the fastener to the vertical axis.
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel.
- Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for maximum reliability.
- Centerless ground to ensure perfectly concentric studs.
- Threads are rolled after heat treatment for 10x better fatigue strength than studs with cut threads.
- Black oxide finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
- Includes high-strength 12-point nuts and parallel-ground hardened washers.
- Comes with ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant to ensure accurate torque preload.
