Fits 1993-2002 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engines (7.3L).
The ARP 250-5801 Main Stud Kit provides the clamping force necessary to prevent main cap walk and protect your engine's rotating assembly. This is a critical upgrade for high-mileage overhauls and performance builds alike, replacing the factory main bolts with high-strength studs that ensure a more accurate torque load on the main bearings during assembly.
Each stud is manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength, and precision thread-rolled after heat treatment for maximum fatigue resistance. This process results in a fastener significantly stronger than OE bolts, capable of handling the increased cylinder pressures found in tuned diesel applications.
