Fits select 1992-2005 Mitsubishi 3000GT, Diamante, Eclipse, and Dodge Stealth (3.0L).
Essential for high-performance builds or engine refreshes, the ARP 207-5801 Main Stud Kit replaces factory main bolts to provide superior clamping force and bottom-end stability. In the 6G72 3.0L engine, using studs instead of bolts allows for more accurate and consistent torque loading of the main caps. This prevents cap walk and reduces wear on the block's internal threads, as the studs remain stationary during the assembly process.
Each kit is manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure a perfect fit and reliable performance under high-stress conditions. The studs facilitate easier engine assembly by accurately aligning the main caps every time.
