This kit provides the critical clamping force necessary to keep the crankshaft main caps perfectly aligned under high-performance conditions, preventing cap walk and protecting your main bearings from premature wear.
Crafted from premium 8740 chrome moly steel, these fasteners are heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength. Unlike factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts that must be discarded after a single use, ARP main bolts are reusable and offer superior fatigue life, making them an essential upgrade for any 1.6L EcoBoost build involving increased boost or higher rev limits.
