Strengthen the bottom end of your Ford Modular engine with the ARP 256-5701 Main Stud Kit. Designed specifically for blocks featuring 4-bolt main caps and utilizing a windage tray, these studs provide significantly more accurate and consistent clamping force than factory head bolts. By using studs instead of bolts, you protect the threads in your engine block and ensure proper main cap alignment, which is critical for high-RPM and high-horsepower applications.
Each fastener is manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength. ARP precision-machines these components to exacting tolerances, including thread rolling after heat treat to ensure maximum fatigue strength and integrity. This kit comes complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and high-strength nuts to facilitate a professional-grade engine assembly.
