The ARP 208-5402 Main Stud Kit is an essential upgrade for any B16A engine build, providing significantly more clamping force than factory main bolts. These studs ensure the crankshaft main caps remain properly seated, preventing main cap walk and maintaining critical bearing clearances during high-RPM operation or under the increased loads of forced induction.
