The ARP 202-5401 Main Stud Kit is a critical upgrade for engine builders seeking to stabilize the bottom end of the Nissan L20 engine. Unlike factory main bolts that are prone to stretching, these studs provide superior clamping force and ensure the main caps remain securely seated under high RPM and heavy load conditions. By using studs instead of bolts, you achieve more accurate torque loading and prevent premature wear on the engine block's internal threads during assembly.
