Constructed from lightweight, high-grade titanium, the Akrapovic Slip-On Line exhaust system provides a significant reduction in weight over the factory setup while delivering measurable gains in performance and acoustics. This precision-engineered system features hand-crafted carbon-fiber tailpipes and utilizes an innovative dual-valve configuration. Unlike the single-valve stock setup, this system includes two valves calibrated to optimize the exhaust note and a TNG controller to manage the additional actuator. To ensure an immersive cabin experience, Akrapovic has integrated two acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes to guide the soundtrack toward the occupants.
The system includes two resonators specifically tuned to eliminate drone at cruising speeds while providing a deep, sporty growl under acceleration. This exhaust is ECE type-approved and requires no ECU remapping for installation (note: ECE certification applies to OPF-equipped vehicles). Installation on the BMW M240i (G42) requires one additional BMW factory valve actuator (Part #18 30 8 686 640).
