The Borla CrateMuffler Resonator (MPN 400938) is engineered for applications with limited space where sound pressure level (SPL) reduction is required. This compact, reversible resonator attenuates overall sound by approximately 2-3 dB(A), making it the perfect addition to a Borla S-Type CrateMuffler system to achieve a more refined "Touring" sound profile. Its straight-through design ensures that exhaust gas velocity and performance are never compromised.
- Material Excellence: Manufactured from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel with 100% welded construction for maximum strength and rust resistance.
- Acoustic Control: Features high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for consistent sound management.
- Specifications: 2.5" center inlet and outlet; 4" round body with a 10" body length and 15" overall length.
- Installation: Features un-notched necks for a secure weld-in installation. For clamp-on applications, use 3" wide band clamps (Borla 18004).
- Versatile Design: Reversible configuration for flexible installation; the natural mill finish can be brushed or polished to preference.
