Designed specifically for Small Block Ford 289 and 302 cubic-inch crate and custom engines, the Borla CrateMuffler is the industry's first exhaust solution tuned for the acoustic and performance requirements of specific engine families. This model features the ATAK (Aggressive Tongue-and-Cheek) sound profile, delivering a high-volume, aggressive exhaust note while utilizing internal geometry to dramatically reduce or eliminate interior drone.
Each CrateMuffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, providing significantly better durability and corrosion resistance than standard T-400 series or 409 stainless. These units feature a directional flow design; the outlet end is easily identified by the integrated mounting bracket welded to the endcap. Precision CNC manufacturing ensures consistent tolerances and an accurate fit for custom exhaust routing.
